Windows 10 is coming in late July!!


Windows 10 is coming in late July, if the comments of AMD CEO Lisa Su are to be believed. According to a report in Ars Technica Su made the remark during the conference call for AMD’s earnings.
The report points out that Su made the point that she expected AMD’s “second half of the year to have a stronger PC market than the first half, due to the launch of Windows 10.” She answered “factoring in […] the Windows 10 launch at the end of July.”
Where Windows 10 goes it expected to release this autumn, though the end of July means the release could take place earlier. Microsoft has already promised to give Windows 10 as a free upgrade to users of Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows Phone 8.1.
Windows 10 brings features like return of the Start menu. In Windows 10, users will have a quick one-click access to the functions and files that they use the most. It will also include a new space to personalize with favourite apps, programs, people and websites.
There’s also a new task view button, which enables one to view all open apps and files, allowing for quick switching and one-touch access to any desktop created. There will also be a Multiple desktops feature, where users sort apps and files into distinct desktops for different purposes and projects.
Microsoft has also introduced Cortana to all Windows 10 devices, including desktops and laptops. Cortana will be seen as a search box located beside the Start button and will open apps on your desktop such as PowerPoint or Word, take email dictation in Outlook, etc.
In addition to this Microsoft has revealed, that a new flagship Lumia device will launch with coincide with the launch of Windows 10.
